First discovered in Labrador, Canada and often called 'Aurora Borealis' in a stone.  Labradorite is magical, matrix of shimmering blues, and golds.  The stone appears dark until it has caught a glimpse of light.  In direct sunlight or light, Labradorite appears almost as a rainbow colored, holographic universe.
